Youth Opportunity Registry
In many communities across South Africa, young people face prolonged periods without work, education, or training—yet their voices often go unheard, and their numbers remain invisible to decision-makers.
This Youth Opportunity Registry is a simple but powerful initiative to change that. Hosted locally, it invites young people aged 18–35 in Kai !Garib Municipality who are not currently employed, in school, or in training to register voluntarily.
By making this number visible, we aim to:
- Strengthen advocacy for jobs, learnerships, and skills programmes
- Encourage government, NGOs, and businesses to respond with real solutions
- Empower youth by affirming: “You are seen. You matter.”
This registry is private, secure, and community-led—because change begins when people are counted.
